Standard source
Martial World Yohachi is the default source. Choose 4 cm Junior or 4.5 cm Main, plus one of 30 thread colors. Screen color remains an approximation until proofing.
Size & length
Standard lengths are 2 / 235 cm, 3 / 255 cm, 4 / 275 cm, 5 / 295 cm, 6 / 310 cm, 7 / 325 cm and 8 / 340 cm. Choose Kaisho or Gyosho for the requested Japanese display.
Measured defaults
Start at 2.5 cm character height with 0.5 cm ordinary gaps, a 1 cm surname/given-name gap, and rank lines 0.9 cm thick with 0.5 cm gaps.
Proof & reverse
Start with the recommended position and approve a human-reviewed proof. Name and rank stitching passes through and is visible on the reverse.

Tracked air shipping. We prepay the estimated U.S. import duty and clearance charges before dispatch.
The $60 one-belt rate includes postage, an import-duty and clearance reserve, and a $10 Japan dispatch handling fee. We will review the rate after the first actual shipment receipt.
Yamato International — $24–40 · duties due on delivery
Tracked standard delivery from Japan. Published guidance for major U.S. cities is dispatch plus 4 to 6 days.
Checkout shipping is about $24 for 1–2 belts or $40 for 3–5 belts. Import duties, taxes and carrier collection fees are separate and may be collected before delivery.

Is the on-screen preview the final proof?
No. It helps review your request. A human-reviewed proof is sent later, and production waits for your approval.
When does production start?
Immediately after you explicitly approve the final digital proof.
Can I cancel before approving the proof?
Yes. You may cancel for a full refund until you explicitly approve the final digital proof. After approval, materials and production work are committed immediately.
What if the finished belt differs from the approved proof?
A confirmed seller or production error against the approved proof is remade at no charge.
Can I change or cancel after approval?
Because production starts immediately after approval, later customer-requested cancellations, changes and returns may require the customer to cover committed production costs and are possible only when the production stage allows them. This does not limit remedies required by applicable law.
Is shipping included in $149?
No. $149 is the price per belt. Japan Post is $60 for one belt with duties prepaid; Yamato is approximately $24 for 1–2 belts or $40 for 3–5 belts, with import charges due separately.
Can I request another maker?
Yes. Mizuno, Kusakura, Tokaido and Other are custom sourcing requests only. Availability, cost, lead time and embroidery compatibility require separate confirmation and a quote, and cannot use the fixed-price $149 checkout.
Who pays import duties, taxes or carrier fees?
For Japan Post, we prepay the estimated U.S. duty and clearance charges and include them in the shipping rate. For Yamato, the recipient pays any import duty, tax or collection fee before delivery.
How long does delivery take after dispatch?
Any available delivery estimate is shown at checkout for your delivery address. It begins after dispatch, is not guaranteed, and customs may delay delivery.
What if my order is damaged, lost or delivered incorrectly?
Contact us within 7 calendar days of delivery, or the expected delivery date for a suspected loss. Keep the item, packaging and shipping label, and send clear photos. We will lead the carrier claim and arrange an appropriate remedy without making you wait solely for carrier reimbursement, consistent with applicable law.
What happens if initial production capacity fills?
The initial release is limited to 20 paid orders. If we cannot ship within the stated estimate, we will send a revised date and let you accept the delay or cancel for a full refund.
